Custardy oak rushes up to greet you but its tailed in by notes of crushed fennel, grapefruit and assorted tropical fruits. There’s a smokiness here too, mostly derived from oak, and a cracked wheat character too. There’s lots going on, lots of flavour and texture, along with an impression of sureness/confidence.
