Very ripe, attesting to a torrid vintage. Tangerine, kumquat and greengage, rolling along a pungent track of moderate acidity and a lees-inflected mineral twang. A bit smoky, but sublimated by the fruit while adding to the sense of time and place. Ned Goodwin, MW
