Fermented on skins with 10% stalks for 38 days. Matured mainly in older French oak. Grapes sourced from the Corydon Vineyard at Kuitpo in the Adelaide Hills. Given an extra 20 months in bottle prior to release.
Finesse is the word. It’s floral and fragrant with woodsy spice and general savouriness though fruit, ripe fruit, is the driver. This is a lovely wine. Elegant. Controlled. Pure. And expressive. There’s nothing hot or jammy about this; it’s fresh and alive.
